My School Essay

My School EssayI've been a college student for over 5 years now and have done a lot of things that involved writing a sample essay or composition. I remember the first time I was required to write a sample essay, and how it almost felt like work, but not quite. The time I spent on my essays during this time has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. You see, I was in a class full of college freshmen that were studying for the SAT's, and it was their first attempt at writing an essay for school. It can be really tough to write a good essay for this, as we usually have no idea what we are going to be tested on. Since our essays were supposed to be a reflection of ourselves, it was important that we had to create an essay that demonstrated how well we could research and write. That is where our 'sample essays' came from.During those early days, they would have a teacher get up in front of the class and start handing out essays. We would then start writing an essay on a pi ece of paper, and we would try to make it different each time we read it. Eventually, the topic of the essay would be read, and then we would either start from scratch or choose a different topic altogether. Of course, even when you were given a short story or a few sentences to tell, it still helped to write something original. After several attempts, we had finally come to a point where we were going to a whole new concept for an essay, and we had to come up with something different. We would start writing another short paper, and before we knew it, we had already chosen a topic. We were almost perfect! However, since this was my very first time trying to write my own essay, I felt even more embarrassed than usual. It wasn't so much that I didn'tknow what I was doing wrong, but it was more that I didn't know what I was doing right! I spent hours, and then a week went by, and I still hadn't written anything. So, I kept going back to the professor and trying to make him understand my situation, but I was just too embarrassed to ask him for help. Then, one day, I was sitting at my desk, and I realized that I had actually been writing a school paper at home. While I had many great ideas for a chapter, I hadn't put any thought into the main idea. Of course, it did help that this particular assignment wasn't that hard, but as I struggled with this particular task, I started to realize that I had to change the way I looked at my assignment and start making it my own.So, I asked my mom to help me write a sample essay for school paper, and she actually started to help me, but I also wanted to do this alone. The next couple of weeks I struggled more, and slowly, but surely, I started to start to understand what the problem was. I made a note to myself that I had to learn how to write a better essay. It took me some time, but I was able to write a well-structured essay, complete with example. It wasn't easy, but I finally managed to do it. If you find yourself in a similar situation, or if you're about to start your first paper assignment, please don't feel bad for asking for help!
